VEGAN SKINCARE REVIEW: YES TO COCONUT CLEANSER WITH COCONUT OIL

Tried & tested Yes To Coconut Ultra Hydrating Creme Cleanser. Read my review of the vegan skincare brand.

I believe a healthy lifestyle works from the inside-out. You get out what you put in. I’ve been eating more plant-based for the past two years and nowadays, my meals are 80% vegan. Along-side regular exercise, the benefits are as clear as day. I feel more energized, my brain-fog has minimized and I just generally feel better. What’s more, my skin is clearer and more supple and my hair is healthier – it actually grows now! Now, I have to credit my change in skincare routine too. In an attempt to live more natural all-round, I’ve started to incorporate natural skincare products into my beauty regime.

Yes To is a natural skincare brand I’ve written about before, having reviewed the Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Micellar Cleansing Water. I’m slowly working my way through their various collections and so far, I’m in-love. It’s affordable vegan skincare at its best. Over the past six months I’ve been using the Yes To Coconut Ultra Hydrating Crème Cleanser which I purchased on Look Fantastic. And it’s great to see natural beauty brands become more mainstream and available at the likes of Boots, Feel Unique and Holland & Barratt all of which stock Yes To products.

I like to take care of my skin and believe a healthy skincare routine only enhances the amazing effects of a healthy diet. The saying, if you wouldn’t put it in your mouth don’t put in on your skin, resonates when you think about how much of what you put on your skin gets absorbed into your blood stream! But, let’s take things one step at a time and start with great skincare brand Yes To.

My Yes To Coconut review…

Yes To Coconut Ultra Hydrating Crème Cleanser

Yes To Coconut Ultra Hydrating Crème Cleanser is a moisture-rich face wash which not only cleanses your skin, but hydrates. The face cleanser is formulated with natural, vegan ingredients: virgin coconut oil, apricot oil, olive oil and avocado oils. It’s so packed with fatty acids, you know it states “Ultra Hydrating” in its name for a reason! Additionally, chia seeds are another surprise natural ingredient, which most users will know are high in omega 3. The cleanser works by lifting dirt, make-up and impurities from the skin, without over-drying. Perfect for those with dry skin types.

Yes To products are 95% natural and made without parabens, SLS and silicones.

How to apply Yes to Coconut Crème Cleanser

This Yes To Coconut crème cleanser works like a natural face wash. The first thing you’ll notice is its scent, which is delicious by the way. Be careful not to consume this product! It has a creamy white texture which smooths so gently onto the skin. I massage it in with circular motions all over my face and neck. To remove, you simply wash it off by rinsing with water.

Yes to Coconut Crème Cleanser Review

Now if I’m honest, when I first bought Yes To Coconut Ultra Hydrating Crème Cleanser, I was a little skeptical as to how effective it would be. I’ve never used a cream cleanser before. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and am used to facial cleansers like Body Shop Seaweed Face Wash to thoroughly clean my skin. However, overtime, I have found that as well as it cleans, it also dries my skin. So what a wonderful surprise it was to use a face cleanser so gentle on my sensitive skin, which removed all impurities and make-up! Moreover, my skin has never felt so soft!

Coconut oil is a natural beauty staple and it’s no wonder Yes To have created a whole skincare line out of it. It has so many benefits as a natural ingredient, from cleansing to moisturizing. The Yes To Coconut Ultra Hydrating Crème Cleanser can be used as part of your daily skincare routine, to cleanse and wash your face with morning and night.

It’s the perfect natural moisturizing cleanser for dry and sensitive skin – vegan beauty made without any of the nasties (parabens, SLS and silicone free). And it’s cruelty-free!
