Natural Skincare Brand Yes To Review: Best Charcoal Micellar Water Face Cleanser

A review of yes to micellar water face cleanser, a natural skincare brand using charcoal to remove impurities, perfect as part of your daily skincare routine!

Practicing a skincare routine daily is key to healthy skin. Environmental pollutants, make-up and oil can clog pores, congest skin and leave you with a dull complexion and even break-outs. It’s important to find a face cleanser which suits your skin-type, whether its dry, combination or oily. I first came across the Yes To skincare brand on natural skincare store My Pure. I’ve tried products from the multiple ranges they offer and they haven’t disappointed. My most recent and one of my favourite purchases is the yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Micellar Cleansing Water.

I use it all the time – in the morning when I don’t have time to wash my face, before the gym to remove any left-over make-up, after a workout to clean-up sweat and dirt, and at night to make sure I hit the pillow with a clean surface. I have never come across a facial cleanser which is gentle on the skin and yet cleans so thoroughly.

What is Micellar Water?

Micellar water is soft water enriched with tiny oil molecules “micelles” which work by drawing out oil, dirt and other impurities out of the skin without over-drying it. It’s a light and gentle formula which removes make-up and sebum and simultaneously moisturises your skin. It removes the need to wash your face clean and hydrate with a moisturizer, which is great for when you’re on-the-go. It’s the perfect travel companion, removing half the effort needed for skin cleaning. If you’re a gym-goer or enjoy the odd exercise class, you can pack the bottle in your gym bag to clean up pre or post workout, leaving you fresh-faced.

yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Micellar Cleansing Water is a formula containing 95% natural ingredients, free from parabens, SLS and silicones. It’s a face cleanser which removes makeup, dirt and oil without causing dryness. It also cleans and moisturises the skin. The charcoal, which sits at the bottom of the bottle, detoxifies the skin without leaving a black residue.

How to Remove Makeup with Micellar Water

You simply give the bottle a shake to activate, twist the cap to unlock, place a cotton pad atop and push down on the pump dispenser twice. Gently wipe your face clean. It’s that easy!

Micellar Water Benefits

Micellar cleansing water is a quick and effective way to remove makeup and clean your face, removing impurities. Due to its ability to remove excess oil and moisturise, the cleanser suits both oily and dry skin as well as sensitive skin types. It removes the need to wash your face and slap moisturizer on, which makes it user friendly when time is not on your side!

yes to Micellar Water Review

I love yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Micellar Cleansing Water! I’ve been gradually making my move to the natural skincare squad and yes to is one brand which is able to actually do the job using natural ingredients. I’ve used make-up removers from reputable beauty brands, including micellar water, but I haven’t been as satisfied as I’ve been using micellar water from yes to. It’s gentle on my sensitive skin. My skin type is combination and it doesn’t cause my oily t-zone to over-produce oil nor does it over-dry the rest of my face.

I see all the make-up, dirt and oil it removes on the cotton pad and my skin is righteously glowing after-use. If I use it before bed, I apply it before or after washing my face to make sure my face is thoroughly clean. If I use it on-the-go or around my gym schedule, my skin is kept hydrated and soft. What’s more, my huge pores are minimized and kept under control. It’s the best make-up remover I’ve used and now forms part of my daily skincare routine.
